From May 13 till 16, De Clercq Solutions participated with 2 cycling teams of 7 people in the first edition of the "1.000 Km van Kom Op Tegen Kanker" (1.000 Km of Fight against cancer). Together with 150 other teams they cycled four days through Flanders. Sunday evening the cyclists were welcomed at the “Grote Markt” in Antwerp by their enthusiastic supporters . They were then honoured by the Flemish prime minister Kris Peeters and the president of ”Kom op tegen Kanker” Frank De Boosere. Thanks to the teams’ actions, 750.000 Euro was collected. The sum will be used for cancer investigation.

After the dazzling success of this first edition, it is clear that there will be a new edition next year. This edition will again be organized during the extended Ascension weekend, from June 2 till 5.

Of course, De Clercq Solutions will also register for that edition, again with the goal of participating with two teams.

Because 2011 is a jubilee year for De Clercq Solutions (the company celebrates its 15th year), we would like to reach even more people. This is why we would like to form mixed teams with our business relations, in which case each participant would collect his share of the start fee (5.000 Euro for each team).
