Brabomills is the third largest Belgian flour producer. Its customers are industrial and traditional bakeries and several other companies in the snack and biscuit industry. Its four mills have a capacity of 1000 tons of flour a day. 94% of its production is destined for industrial bakeries, 6% for traditional bakeries.

Its clients expect a standardized, constant quality because this is crucial in ensuring the efficiency of their production process. Brabomills also produces more and more flour for specialized products, which increased the need for a system that could help monitor its production and logistics every step of the way.

Some of the functions of MES: management of the methods of preparation, preparation based control of the cleaners, moisteners, mills, ... Some of the functions of LES: reception wheat till storage in silos, control over the automatic warehouse, stock management, picking for shipment, ...

Based on the data from the system, Brabomills can calculate the exact cost of the finished products, which improves their insight in their efficiency. Thanks to the link between the MES and LES there is a 100% traceability, from wheat producer to baker. All the information is centralized in one system and the data are available in real-time and easy to consult on every level because of the easy to use interfaces.

De Clercq Solutions not only implemented the Objective software but was also responsible for the link with the existing business systems, OPC and visualisation software in production, and the configuration, installation and integration of all the necessary hardware.
