Haacht Brewery

Haacht Brewery and its 400 employees realize a turnover of € 100 miljoen and produce 1,2 million hectoliters of beers and soft drinks a year. Some of their most famous drinks are Primus, Pepsi, Tongerlo and Keizer Karel.

 

The decision to proceed to the implementation of LES, was based on a thorough concept study. According to Patrick Dubois, the following objectives were crucial:

 

  • Answering the specific question of distribution for traceability
  • The ability to execute detailed recall operations
  • Amelioration of logistic perfor-mance: warehouse management (stock & location), efficient picking, decrease of errors
  • Application of the FEFO-rules (First Expired First Out) in a more precise way
